Human Resources Officer
Job Description
Job Summary The Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role ensures smooth HR processes and promotes a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Selection
• Assist in end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring)
• Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new hires
2. Employee Relations
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions
• Assist in implementing company policies and Code of Conduct
• Promote positive working environment and employee engagement
3. Compensation & Benefits
• Assist in payroll preparation and timekeeping validation
• Administer employee benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO if applicable)
• Monitor leaves, absences, and attendance records
4. Performance Management
• Support performance appraisal process
• Monitor probationary employee evaluations
• Assist managers in performance documentation and improvement plans
5. HR Administration
• Maintain 201 files and employee records (digital and physical)
• Prepare HR reports (turnover, attendance, hiring updates, etc.)
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information
6. Compliance & Labor Relations
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
• Assist in preparing documents for audits and government inspections
• Support in handling labor-related cases if necessary
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 2-5 years of HR experience (preferably in general HR functions)
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
